Calhoun County ISD received approval for the 2019-2020 school year to continue with our Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) status.

So what does this mean for Calhoun County ISD families?

  • At HJM Elementary, JR Elementary, Port O’Connor Elementary and Seadrift School, the district will continue its Breakfast in the Classroom Program, at no cost to all students, as provided the past three years.
  • At Travis Middle School, Calhoun High School and Hope High School, breakfast will be served in the cafeteria before school, as in the past, but at no cost to the student during the 2019-2020 school year.
  • Lunch service at all campuses will continue as normal, but at no cost to the student during the 2019-2020 school year.
  • The After School Meal Program at HJM Elementary, JR Elementary, Port O’Connor Elementary, Seadrift School, Travis Middle School and Calhoun High School will continue to be served after the school day, at no cost to all students, as provided the past year.
  • Students can continue to purchase ala carte items with cash or prepaid meal accounts. Students will not be allowed to charge into the negative on their cafeteria accounts. Prepayments can still be made online at myschoolbucks.com or at the point of sale with cash or check.
