The YMCA program, located on the HJM Elementary campus, has reported that an individual is lab-tested positive for COVID-19. The program was last active on the HJM campus on 01/13/2021. The area will be thoroughly sanitized.
All impacted students and staff have been contacted. The YMCA program operates under the " COVID Guidance for Day-care Facilities" which is a little different than public school guidance. Any student asked to quarantine should log into their HJM Elementary Google Classroom for instruction and daily assignments.
CCISD is now offering COVID testing for students and staff. For more information, please see the district website at www.calcoisd.org.
Please stay at home if a student/family member has symptoms for COVID-19. Also, if a student or any individual in the home is waiting on COVID test results, please stay at home. Any of the following symptoms may indicate a possible COVID-19 infection. If a student has any of these symptoms, please keep them at home and call the school nurse.
