Notification of confirmed COVID-19 case at POC
Posted on 02/01/2021

In keeping with district practices to respond to COVID-19, we are notifying all Port O'Connor Elementary students, staff and guests that one student and one staff member have lab-tested positive for COVID-19. Both were last on campus 1/29/2021. All impacted students and staff have been notified by the school. CCISD maintenance thoroughly cleaned the building and E-misted over the weekend.

CCISD is now offering COVID testing for students and staff, by appointment. For more information, please see the district website at www.calcoisd.org.

Please stay at home if a student/family member has symptoms for COVID-19. Also, if a student or any individual in the home is waiting on COVID test results, please stay at home. Any of the following symptoms may indicate a possible COVID-19 infection. If a student has any of these symptoms, please keep them at home and call the school nurse.

We encourage students, staff or family members connected with POC Elementary to please notify the school if a household member is lab-confirmed to have COVID-19.
