In keeping with district practices to respond to COVID-19, we are notifying all students, staff and guests that one HJM Elementary student has tested positive for COVID-19. The student was last on campus on 03/09/2021.
The nurse reports that COVID symptoms can be very similar to seasonal allergy symptoms. She encourages all students and staff members experiencing those symptoms to be cautious. CCISD is now offering COVID testing for students and staff. For more information, please see the district website at www.calcoisd.org.
Please stay at home if a student/family member has symptoms for COVID-19. Also, if a student or any individual in the home is waiting on COVID test results, please stay at home. Any of the following symptoms may indicate a possible COVID-19 infection. If a student has any of these symptoms, please keep them at home and call the school nurse.
