Happy belated birthday Ms. Demers Sunday

Congratulations to Sandies volleyball. They were consolation champions in the Sinton tournament. Also huge congrats to Morgan Gray for receiving All-Tournament.

In the Girls High School Varsity Division Fehrle Rodriguez led our girls teams by finishing 9th overall in the race. Our girls’ varsity team finished 5th overall in the team standings. Our Boys Varsity Team top finisher overall was Rocky Ybarra. Phoebe Huang and Alex Tafolla ran well in the Elite Varsity Divisions and Sarah Armbruster led our Girls JV team and Damien Mendez led our Boys JV team. Our next meet will be this coming Saturday August 27 in the Unicorn Cross Country Invitational in New Braunfels, Texas. 

The SPUD Club will meet this Wednesday after school. Pizza will be provided. New members are welcome.

Students, remember to get your registration packets completely signed and turned into your 3rd period teacher as soon as possible.  Teachers, please do not hold on to the turned in packets, please bring them to the front office on a daily basis. 

There will be an Anchor Club meeting on Tuesday, August 23rd at 4pm in Mrs. Strauss’ room (Room V-14).  All members need to bring their summer hours sheet with them to the meeting.

Seniors! If you are interested in purchasing a parking spot from student council to paint that will be yours for the year, please go by and see Coach Spencer in W204 to pick up a form. The cost is $40 and the painting day will be Saturday, September 10 from 8am - 1pm.

Student Council's  first blood drive will be held Wednesday, August 24th.  If you are 16 or older and would like to donate to help save lives and work toward your red cord, please sign up using the QR code on the posters in the hall, in your Google Classroom,  or see Mrs. Anderson (W203).  In the notes section, please type what teacher you have during that class period.  If you are 16, you will need to get a permission slip from Mrs. Anderson to bring to the blood drive.  Thank you!

Tip for the day- Always stop when directed to do so by a school patrol sign, school patrol officer or designated crossing guards.
