Attention Class of 24, There is a Google Form on Google Classroom for you to nominate themes for the 2023 prom. We will take these and narrow them down during the next class meeting on September 12th at 6:30p.m. in the cafeteria, so the seniors can vote. If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Jones.
Tomorrow is the last day to request a schedule change out of a PAP, honors or AP class.
Huge weekend for Sandies Volleyball-varsity won the Goliad tournament. Kendal Bargas received MVP and Morgan Gray and Nevaeh Rangel received all tournament. At the Victoria tournament, Freshman volleyball won it and JV got 3rd place. Congratulations Sandies.
The Art Club will be having a meeting tomorrow after school. Anyone that is interested, please come by room V8 in the vocational building after school tomorrow.
The Thespian Club is in need of a new Historian. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, capturing moments throughout the year though photography and notes. If you're interested in running for this position or joining our meetings please stop by Mrs. Fojt's classroom E107 for more information. Anyone is welcome and will be gladly accepted. Our first Thespians meeting will be held on Wednesday, September 1st at 4PM. Come by and join us for an afternoon of theater fun!
Yearbooks are on sale now! Students will be set up in the cafeteria during all three lunches today to take yearbook orders. Last year we sold out and were not able to get extra copies. Make sure you order your yearbook early or you might miss out. Recognition ads are also available for as low as $30…this is a great way to recognize your favorite senior. Yearbooks are on sale right now for $60…payment plans are available. Students can order during lunch today or see Mrs. Sontag in A109 to get an order form.
Students, remember to get your registration packets completely signed and turned into your 3rd period teacher as soon as possible
Tip for the day- When your vehicle is turning left and there is a bicyclist entering the intersection from the opposite direction, you should wait for the bicyclist to pass before making the turn.
