Calhoun Thespians first meeting will be held TODAY, Thursday, September 8th at 4PM in Ms. Fojt's classroom E107. Everyone is welcome! Come by and join us for an afternoon of theater fun!
Students in 9th thru 11th grade will be taking school pictures this Friday. Students will go to the auditorium during their history class. Additionally, all staff members please come by during your conference and get your picture taken as well.
Friday, September 16th is the last day of the yearbook special that includes a cost of $60 and four free yearbook icons. Please see Mrs. Sontag in A109 for order forms and information. Order forms are also available in the front office. Last year we ran out of yearbooks and we were not able to order more. Make sure you get your yearbook order in early to reserve your copy of the 22/23 yearbook.
The restrooms by the snack bar will be closed every day after 1:30 for maintenance. Please plan to use a different restroom in the main building.
If you are interested in trying out for Accounting or Computer Apps UIL this year, please see Mrs. Matula in V-1 by the end of the week. We will be starting practices soon.
There are still a lot of students who have not turned in the first day registration paperwork. Please get that turned in this week. Also, the front office will be sending back paperwork that was not completed. Please get those forms filled out and returned asap.
Your Homecoming nominations have been heard. All students are allowed to vote for this years homecoming court. Please go to your google classroom ¨Class of¨ to vote for up to 5 girls and 5 guys for your 2022 Homecoming Court.
If you would like to go to the 2022 Homecoming dance teacher on Saturday, September 17, please see Mrs. Anderson in W203 or any student council member to purchase tickets. Cost is $10 per ticket. Thank you and hope to see you there!
Tip for the day- If you walk to school, walk on the sidewalk; if there is no sidewalk and you must walk in the street, walk facing traffic.
