Happy Birthday Mrs. Anderson and Mrs. Woody
In the Crabs on the Bay Cross country Invitational at Magnolia Beach the Varsity Boys finished the 3-mile race 5th overall in the team standings. They were led by Jakob Bargas who finished 14th overall in a time of 16:17. Jakob was followed by Alex Tafolla, Dylan Hill, Rocky Ybarra, Eddie Rendon, Linkyn Garza-Doolin and Leopold Garza. The Varsity Girls who finished their 2-mile race 3rd overall were led by Phoebe Huang who finished 3rd overall with a time of 12:31. Phoebe was followed by Fehrie Rodriguez, Eva Sanchez, Ava Manning, Ella Vazquez, Chelsea Saenz, Victoria Varela and Zoe Conde. The JV Boys were led by Anthony Ybarra who finished the 3 –mile race in a time of 17:36. Following Anthony was Mason Rodriguez, Dylan Ramirez, Damien Mendez, Cesar Guerrero, Armando Perez, Viet Nguyen and Kyle Staggs. The JV Girls were led by Sarah Armbruster who finished the 2 mile race 3rd overall with a time of 15:21. Following Sarah was Emmalee Laredo and Angel Galeana. Our next meet will be Thursday October 6th at the Bay City Cross Country Invitational in Bay City, Texas.
This is just a reminder that students who are absent, only have 3 days from the absence to turn in Doctor notes and parent notes, anything turned in after that will NOT be accepted.
Calhoun Cheerleaders, will be selling Black out Shirts for the October 14th game. The cost is $20.00 for Small to Extra Large and $25.00 for 2XL & 3XL. You can get with Mrs. Fredericksen or any cheerleader to get your order in. We will only have a limited amount of shirts available. So make sure to get your order in. Thank you for your support.
Attention seniors! There is a Google Form for you to vote on the theme for prom. It will be open until October 10th.
Tip for the day – If riding a bike, ride single file on the right side of the road.
