Please take the time today to thank a custodian for all that they do for our school and students. They work hard to keep our school clean and safe.
Student Council is hosting another blood drive on Wednesday, October 26! If you are 16 or older, please consider donating blood to save a life and to also graduate with your red cord. Please sign up using the QR code on the poster in the hallways and in your Google Classroom and please add your teacher's name in the notes section. If you are 16, please see Mrs. Anderson in W203 for a permission slip or you can print one from Google Classroom. If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Anderson.
This is just a reminder that students who are absent, only have 3 days from the absence to turn in Doctor notes and parent notes, anything turned in after that will NOT be accepted.
Calhoun Sandcrab Band Participated in the Odem Invitation Marching Contest on Sept 24th. In the first round of competition they scored 5th place in 4A. For finals the band placed in 3rd overall and placed in 2nd for Percussion. Last Saturday the Sandcrab Band competed at the GP Tournament of Bands. The band scored 2nd place in 4A and 2nd place overall runner up champions. This Saturday the band will compete in the Calallen Invitational Marching Contest. WAY TO GO BAND!!! AND GOOD LUCK THIS WEEK END.
Calhoun Cheerleaders, will be selling Black out Shirts for the October 14th game. The cost is $20.00 for Small to Extra Large and $25.00 for 2XL & 3XL. You can get with Mrs. Fredericksen or any cheerleader to get your order in. We will only have a limited amount of shirts available. So make sure to get your order in. Thank you for your support.
Tip for the day – If riding a bike, come to a complete stop before crossing the street and walk the bike across.
