Happy birthday to Debra Bernal
This past Saturday the band competed in the Area E Marching Contest in Calallen. The earned 10th place out of 32 band and proceeded to Finals. In Finals the band missed State Marching Contest by 3 bands earning 9th place out of 12 finalists. The band has not made Area Finals in school history. This is a great accomplishment and congratulations to the band for their fantastic marching season. WAY TO GO BAND!!!
The 2nd Annual Student Council Cancer Awareness Week Door Decorating Contest winners are as follows: 3rd Place: Darla Heath, 2nd Place: Sherrie Brown and the Grand Prize Winner is: Faith Fojt! Thank you all for participating! Mrs. Fojt, we will be bringing your TROPHY and treats soon!
If you are interested in joining winterguard this year, there will be a meeting held at the bandhall this Wednesday after school.
Student Council is asking CHS to BE THE ONE. BE THE ONE to help others in need. BE THE ONE to make a difference. BE THE ONE to change a life. We are asking everyone to donate just $1 to help those in Florida affected by Hurricane Ian. A Student Council member will be in the cafeteria to collect any donations or you can bring your donation to Mrs. Anderson in W203. This information is also in your Google Classrooms.
Attention Class of 24! There is a form in Google Classroom for you to nominate representatives for Breaker Beauty. Nominations will be open until today when a form for voting on the top nominations will be posted. Please see Mrs. Jones with any questions.
Tip for the day –While driving; if you’re turning right and a bicyclist is approaching from behind on the right, let the rider go through the intersection first, and always use your turn signal.
