Happy belated birthday to Coach Alexander Sunday and Happy Birthday Mr. Sontag today.
The student council meeting will be moved to Tuesday this week.
Congratulations to senior Kylee Sebastian and soph Briley Christensen for making the all-tourney team this past weekend at the Varsity Girls Tidehaven Basketball Tournament. Kylee had a total of 53 points, 9 assists, 13 rebounds, 3 blocked shots, and 9 steals and Briley had a total of 44 points, 5 assists, 37 rebounds, and 6 steals.
This past Saturday, our Calhoun Sandcrab Band participated in the Region 14 Band Tryout. 13 members made a Region band and 3 of those the members are Area Qualifiers. Sydney Sun, 15th on Flute, Stacey Zhang, 19th on Flute, Christopher Sanchez, 2nd on Oboe, Christina McDonald, 4th on Clarinet, Javon Vela, 10th on Clarinet, Leitan Vogt 28th on Clarinet, Madison Walker, 9th on Tenor Saxophone, Leonel Pena, 6th on Baritone Saxophone, Viet Nguyen, 8th on Trumpet, Breaden Davis, 9th on Trumpet, Javen Cortez, 11th on Trumpet, Bryan Diggs, 1st on Euphonium & Sloan Gaines, 6th on Euphonium. Christopher Sanchez, Christina McDonald, & Bryan Diggs have qualified for Area tryouts next month. Good luck & Congratulations Band!!
Breaker Beauty is this Friday, December 9th. The program will begin at 1:30 pm. Tickets for the show are $3 each. Yearbook students will be selling tickets this week or you can purchase tickets in Mrs. Sontag's classroom A109.
The team from SSR Letter Jackets will be on campus this Wednesday, from 11:45 AM – 1:15 PM in the CHS Front Office Hallway to measure for letter jackets, and to take up order forms and payments. All directions on how to order your jackets are in your packet. Please pick up a packet from your sponsor, director or coach if you have not already done so. Thanks and see you at the fitting.
Golf tryouts will be Tuesday, 12/10 at 4:00pm at Football practice field, weather permitting. Must have a physical on file and bring your own clubs. Come by and sign up with Coach Voss or Parker.
