Student Council is hosting a Class Wars challenge to restock our local food pantry shelves so that everyone can have a warm meal at Christmastime. Please bring nonperishable food items to Mrs. Anderson’s class by Friday, December 16th and be sure to say what class you belong to. For each item donated, your class will get a paper chain link to add for your class down the hall by the snack bar. The classes will be able to earn points toward the Class Wars competition.
Tip for the day –This is a good time to create or restock your home winter preparedness kit. It should include flashlights, batteries, matches, manual can opener, first aid kit, unexpired medicanes, battery powered radio, extra pillows and blankets and a list of emergency contact numbers.
