Happy Birthday to Brandon Jackson
This is a reminder that club/organization group pictures will be taken on Thursday.
Congratulations to the Sandies Soccer Team and their 2nd place finish at the Yoakum tournament. The Sandies had victories over Saint Joe 2 to 1 and a 3 to 2 shoot-out over El Campo and ties with Palacios and Columbus sending the Sandies into the Championship game as the number 2 seed. Ether Htoo lead scorers with goals, Clair Flores, Shayla Nolasco and Alysha Padilla with 1 goal each and the. The Sandies played aggressive and solid defense to guide the team to the number seed in the tournament.
Students, make sure you reserve your copy of the yearbook today! The cost of the yearbook is now $70 and they can be ordered online at Jostens yearbook.com or you can pick up an order form in Mrs. Sontag's room A109. Last year we ran out of yearbooks. Make sure you reserve your copy now before it is too late!
Tip for the day –A space heater can be an effective way to warm up a cold room but if your heater requires venting, make sure you have it vented to the outdoors. Always allow at least three feet of empty area around space heaters.
