Happy Birthday to Alicia Fivecoat

Student Council will be hosting another Blood Drive on Wednesday, January 25th.  The schedule for that day will be different due to MAP testing for English, Algebra 1, Geometry, and Algebra 2.  You will only be going to classes for periods 1, 3, 5, & 7 that day and each will last two periods.  If you are 16 or older and would like to donate blood to save lives and work toward your red cord for graduation, please sign up for a time that is NOT DURING YOUR MAP TEST PERIOD and put your teacher's name in the notes section using the QR code on the posters in the hall or on Google Classroom.  If you are 16, you must have a signed permission slip.  Please see Mrs. Anderson (W203) if you have any questions or need a permission slip.

If you are interested in doing UIL Number Sense, Calculator, and/or Mathematics, please see Mr,. Rubac in Room A108.

If you are going to the UIL Meet at Tuloso Midway on Saturday, January 28th, please see Mr. Rubac in Room A108 and sign u for Number Sense, Calculator and/or Mathematics by this Thursday, January 12th.  Thursday, January 12 is the last day to sign up to go to the meet at TM on January 28th.

The Robotics Team will meet Tuesday, 1/10 and Wednesday, 1/11 in the Robotics Shop at 4pm.  Robotics Club Yearbook picture will be taken at 8:30am on Thursday 1/12/23.

Today is the last day to request a schedule change. Please email your counselor if you have a request.

Seniors, the deadline for the TDECU online scholarship is 2-7-23, the deadline for Houston Area Go Texas online scholarship is 1-31-23, the deadline for Guadalupe Blanco River Authority online application is 1-31-23 and the deadline for the Golden Crescent of Texas scholarship is 1-29-23.  You will need to come by Mrs. McCarthy-Vesely’s desk for that application.

This is a reminder that club/organization group pictures will be taken on Thursday.

Students, make sure you reserve your copy of the yearbook today!  The cost of the yearbook is now $70 and they can be ordered online at Jostens yearbook.com or you can pick up an order form in Mrs. Sontag's room A109. Last year we ran out of yearbooks. Make sure you reserve your copy now before it is too late!

Tip for the day –Candles are a great way to give the room that warm glow, but they also cause fires.  Never leave candles burning if you go out or go to sleep and keep your candles away from pets and kids.

Have a great day and remember to Be Kind! Be Smart! and Be Safe!
