The Calhoun Sandcrabs obtained their third district victory defeating Wharton HS 7 to 0. Mario Vargas scored 2 goals, Ta Moo, Jorge Cedillo, David Castillo, Cesar Aguilar and Pietro Tremari scored 1 goal each for a total of 7 goals. Congratulations SANDCRABS!
Monday is the last day to place recognition ads in the yearbook. Don't miss this deadline! See Mrs. Sontag in A109 to pick up the order form.
Attention all Freshmen, Sophomores, & Juniors: CHS will be hosting a Course Fair on Tuesday, February 7th from 5:00-6:00 p.m. in the CHS cafeteria. Come by and check out the classes, extracurricular clubs, and sports that will be available to you next year. Registration for next year will start in a couple of weeks. Make sure that you stop by the Course Fair, so that you know what your choices are.
Seniors, do not forget the following scholarship application deadlines: The TDECU scholarship deadline is 2-7-23. This is an online applications.
Seniors: Please go to your Class of 23 Google Classroom to nominate your Senior Class Favorites. We will use these on your Senior Day on May 19th to decorate. Your input is greatly appreciated. Nominations end today.
Tip for the day –When sunrise occurs later in the morning, it can also present challenges for drivers. Having a pair of sunglasses in the vehicle to wear when the sun is bright is a good strategy.
