Happy belated birthday Mrs. Lisa Fredericksen and happy birthday Coach Bagwell

Seniors-Scholarship information and packets will be ready to start working on tomorrow. Please come and see Mrs. McCarthy-Vesely for instructions, etc.  Do not get out of class, only come by before or after school, during your lunch or during passing periods.  Do not be late for class.  

The Sandies soccer Played undefeated Palacios on Friday night in a 0 to 0 defensive battle sending the game into a penalty shootout. Great defensive play by the entire team kept the Palacios offense off balance and gave them very few scoring opportunities.  Shayla Nolano, Alysha Padilla, Maggy Montenegro, Daisy Guerrero and Amirys Campos each scored during the shoot out for a 5 to 4 win. Kristina Villarreal had to block 2 shots to preserve the win for Sandies. On Thursday the Sandies dropped a district game to Wharton 2 to 1 with Claire Flores scoring and Ehther Htoo assisting. The Sandies travel to El Campo on Tuesday. 

The Calhoun Sandcrabs obtained their fourth district victory defeating Palacios HS 3 to 0.  Jan Pablo Martinez scored 2 goals, and Christopher Caro scored 1 goal. Congratulations SANDCRABS!

Congratulations to our JV Boys Soccer team in their victory over Palacios High School at Sandcrab Stadium on Friday night as they won 7-0. Scoring for the Sandcrabs were Max Bilal - 3 Goals, Manug Soe - 2 Goals, and Andres Olachia - 1 Goal.  In goal for the shutout were goalies Thomas Ro and Riley Daniel.  Also congratulations to the jv boys team for winning 3rd place overall in the JV Boys Alice ISD Tournament with victories over Calallen, London and Miller. Our next game will be this Tuesday night at home against El Campo at 5:30 pm. 

Robotics Team - Drivers and programmers need to practice.  Everyone else needs to build.  We won't meet Tuesday so we can be at Course Fair.  Please attend meetings on Wednesday and Thursday from 4 to 6 and on Sunday from 1 to 5.  We really need members to show up and build.  Please plan to make a meeting or two.

Register for the school day SAT, ACT, or PSAT in the front office by Friday. Check your Google Classroom for more information.

Student Council is selling bracelets to support Hunter and McCoy for $2 or any larger donation. Please see a student council member or go to Coach Spencer or Mrs. Anderson for your bracelet to show your support!  All proceeds will go to support both families.

Today is the last day to place recognition ads in the yearbook.  Don't miss this deadline! See Mrs. Sontag in A109 to pick up the order form. 

Attention all Freshmen, Sophomores, & Juniors:  CHS will be hosting a Course Fair tomorrow from 5:00-6:00 p.m. in the CHS cafeteria.  Come by and check out the classes, extracurricular clubs, and sports that will be available to you next year.
Registration for next year will start in a couple of weeks.  Make sure that you stop by the Course Fair, so that you know what your choices are. 

Seniors, do not forget the following scholarship application deadlines: The TDECU scholarship deadline is tomorrow.  This is an online applications.

Tip for the day –If you have decided that your yard needs to be spruced up by trimming your trees, be sure to look up and survey the area carefully for power lines.
