If you are taking the school day SAT or PSAT, you will go upstairs to the E400 hall when the first bell rings at 7:50 on Wednesday, March 22nd. We will begin promptly at 8:00. Do not be late.
The Boys Soccer Sandcrabs obtained another District Championship, they will play their first playoff game vs Stafford HS at our stadium on Friday at 6 pm. Congratulations DISTRICT CHAMPIONS!
The Sandies closed out their soccer season with a big 4 to 0 win over Halletsville. Claire Flores led the team with 2 scores, Shayla Nolasco and Mileidy Anzaldua each had a score. Maggy Montenegro and Dulce Morales had an assist each. Mileidy Anzaldua and Jennifer Gallegos led the team with 5 steals apiece and Alexandria Muniz with 4 steals. Kristina Villarreal had 8 saves.
Anyone interested in trying out for the 2023-2024 Calhoun Cheer Team will need to have a parent attend a mandatory meeting Monday, March 20 immediately following the first day of practice. Information packets will be available in the CHS front office Tuesday, March 7. Please come by and pick one up this week.
There will be a mandatory parent meeting on March 22 at 5:30 in CHS cafeteria for any student who wishes to try out for Sandettes? Practice will be Monday March 27-FRiday March 31 from 4:30-6 in gym 1. Tryouts will then be on Saturday April 1 from 8-?
Tip for the day –When staying in a hotel, always lock your door and use the deadbolt or door chain when you are in your room and never open the door to someone you don’t know.
