Congratulations to the JV boys track team for winning the District Championship yesterday at Sandcrab Stadium. Also, congrats to the following Varsity athletes for qualifying for the Area track meet next week in Floresville. Colytyn Judd 4th place shot put, Ayden Serena 3rd place polevault, Eric Anzaldua 3rd place long jump, Josh Nilsen 2nd place high jump, John Moreno 2nd place 2 mile & 2nd place mile, Tony Hensley District champion in the 100 meter dash & 2nd place 200 meter dash, Seth Sandberg 4th place 400 meter dash, Trevor Dykes District Champion 300 meter hurdles, Jacob Bargas 3rd place 800 meter run & 4th place mile. The 4x100 meter relay consisting of Marquise Farrow, Seth Sandberg, Athyn Morales & Tony Hensley won the district championship & the 4x400 meter relay team consisting of Izaiah Cabreles, Josh Nilsen, Trevor Dykes & Seth Sandberg placed 3rd & qualified for area.
Tuesday, April 18th is the English 1 STAAR test. Thursday, April 20th is the English 2 STAAR test. Arrive on time to school and bring your charged Chromebook.
Attention Juniors and Seniors- Voting for prom court is still open on your Google Classroom. Voting will be closed on Monday. Get your vote in if you want it to count!
Attention Calhoun High School Students: The team from SSR Letter Jackets will be on campus Wednesday, April 19th from 11:45 – 1:30 at the CHS hallway behind the main office to measure for letter jackets, and to take up order forms and payments. All directions on how to order your jackets are in your packet. Please pick up a packet from your coach, sponsor or teacher if you have not already done so. If you cannot be present for the fitting, please read the detailed instructions on how to order your jacket by emailing your order form to our region office. Thanks and see you at the fitting.

Seniors!! Please go to your Class of 23 Google Classroom and fill out the Project Grad RSVP posted by Coach Spencer. This will really help us prepare for a fun night after graduation for you seniors.
Freshmen, Sophomores, and Juniors! It's election time!!! Please go to your "Class of" google classroom and cast your vote for our 2023-24 Student Council officers. Please watch their candidate videos and cast your vote for who will serve your student body the best!
Prom tickets will be on sale during all three lunches today.
If you are interested in being a part of the Miss Juneteenth Annual Pageant, please come by the front office and pick up a registration form. The deadline is May 1st.
