Congratulations to Emily Caylor who has won the local Rotary Club 4-Way Speech contest and will be competing on April 29 at the District meet.  Break a leg, Emily!

The following students need to come see Mrs. McCarthy-Vesely in the front office now please: Kathryn Carmichael, Lauren Garcia, Cassandra Lopez, Stella Motl, Alexis Odefey, Martine Sowa and Kristina Villarreal

Any senior who is not confirmed as FAFSA complete and has not submitted proof of FAFSA submission or turned in an opt-out form is required to be at school on all STAAR testing days.

Seniors—Senior Day is just around the corner. Student Council would like you to go to your Google Classroom to nominate your classmates for the Class of 2023 Who’s Who. Nominations close at 4pm on Friday, April 28th.

Seniors, this is just a reminder that if you have received a scholarship outside of our local scholarships or one from the college you are going to, please let Mrs. McCarthy-Vesely know as soon as possible if you have not done so already.

The Calhoun Theatre Department will be performing their winning One Act Play this Thursday at 7pm in the auditorium.  If you have not seen this play, please come and enjoy an evening of entertainment.  Presale tickets are $4.00 for adults and $2.00 for students.

Attention Calhoun High School Students: The team from SSR Letter Jackets will be on campus tomorrow from 11:45 – 1:30 at the CHS hallway behind the main office to measure for letter jackets, and to take up order forms and payments. All directions on how to order your jackets are in your packet. Please pick up a packet from your coach, sponsor or teacher if you have not already done so. If you cannot be present for the fitting, please read the detailed instructions on how to order your jacket by emailing your order form to our region office. Thanks and see you at the fitting.

Tip for the day –When traveling, don’t forget to pack your medications especially if you have a chronic health condition.  You should also keep a list of medications and dosages with you at all times.
