Seniors! We had a dead tie for Miss CHS! We are having a run off....please check your google classroom to cast ONE last vote for your senior favorite for Miss CHS!
SENIORS !!! Please remember to bring your cap and gown for the Senior elementary Walk on Friday, May 19th. Meet at the bus ramp at 9am to load the buses. You will be going to both elementaries this year. All Seniors are welcome to participate.
If you are a freshman, sophomore, and especially a JUNIOR: The Horticulture 'SPUD' club will be working in the garden over the summer where you can accumulate hours towards next year's scholarships. Come to an informational meeting this Wednesday directly after school for about 10 minutes, or find and talk with Mr. Hamelwright in the Vocational Building, welding shop, V-12. Text '@spudclub' to the number 8-10-10 to be added to the Remind group for updates.
Seniors, Just a reminder that there are to be no decorations of any sort on your cap and gown for graduation. Just the standard cap and gown will be acceptable. If you have decorated your cap and/or gown, you will need to either take the décor off or order a new one to wear for graduation. Decorations of any sort have never been allowed.

Brianna Avalos, Alyssa Cobos, Emma Garcia, Selina Sanchez-Pina, Alexandra Trevino, Cesar Guerrero, Gaven Sorrells, Christopher Caro, Ainsley Vela, Maria Sandoval Unzueta, Aleigh Thurkill, Marcus Franco, Morgan Russell, Lai Thein, and Derrick Chu.
Calhoun Esports will begin recruiting for the 23-24 school year over the summer.
We will be competing in the Vanta Esports League which will consist of 2 weeks of pre-season play, 6-8 weeks of regular season play, and playoffs/State Championships. If you are interested, please be checking your Google Classroom over the next couple of weeks and over the summer break. We will be picking teams based off of in-game rank for Rocket League, League of Legends, Super Smash Brothers Ultimate and Chess (via Chess.com). Seniors, the Chromebook Room will be open today and tomorrow from 7-11 for Chromebook check-ins. Please bring your Chromebook and charger if you are completely done with all of your tests/finals. May 23rd we will have the Chromebook Room open all day for Check-Ins. May 25th, Graduation Practice, will be the final day for Check-Ins. We will have a table setup at the entrance of the auditorium.
Tip for the day –While out and about, do not wear anything that will impede your vision or hearing.
