If you received a local scholarship, do not forget to turn in your thank you letters to Mrs. McCarthy-Vesely by this Friday.
If you have a library fine or have a book out, go to the library and clear up your fines as soon as possible.
Do you like helping people? You can earn hours this summer as a Junior Volunteer at MMC. Applications can be picked up at the counselor’s office or at the MMC Volunteer desk between the hours of 8am-4pm Monday-Friday. Applications must be returned by May 19th to the MMC Volunteer desk.
Seniors, make sure you sign up in the guidance office about where you want your FINAL transcript to be sent. It will not be sent if your name is not on the list.
If you enrolled in Honors Pre-Calculus for next school year swing by Mrs. Wooldridge's classroom, A-117, to pick up the summer review assignment.
SENIORS !!! Please remember to bring your cap and gown for the Senior elementary Walk on Friday, May 19th. Meet at the bus ramp at 9am to load the buses. You will be going to both elementaries this year. All Seniors are welcome to participate.
If you are a freshman, sophomore, and especially a JUNIOR: The Horticulture 'SPUD' club will be working in the garden over the summer where you can accumulate hours towards next year's scholarships. Come to an informational meeting this Wednesday directly after school for about 10 minutes, or find and talk with Mr. Hamelwright in the Vocational Building, welding shop, V-12. Text '@spudclub' to the number 8-10-10 to be added to the Remind group for updates.
Seniors, the Chromebook Room will be open today from 7-11 for Chromebook check-ins. Please bring your Chromebook and charger if you are completely done with all of your tests/finals. May 23rd we will have the Chromebook Room open all day for Check-Ins. May 25th, Graduation Practice, will be the final day for Check-Ins. We will have a table setup at the entrance of the auditorium.
Tip for the day –While out and about, stay in well lit areas as much as possible.
