Happy Birthday Ms. Becky Briseno

Students, registration paperwork was due August 25th.  If you have not turned yours in, please do so by Friday.  Make sure it is completely filled out and signatures are on all pages.  Staff, if you still have any paperwork that students have turned in, please send it to the office on a daily basis.

Homecoming week is next week, here are the themes for the week.  Tuesday: Dress as something with the same initial as your first name.  Wednesday-dress as your favorite Barbie or ken, Thursday-Dress as your favorite musical artist/wear musical artist t-shirt and Friday-Wear Gold for Gold out.

Juniors, please check your Google Classrooms to put in your suggestions for this year's Prom Theme. Suggestions will be taken until September 8. 

Sandies varsity and jv volleyball had a great night defeating London. The freshman team lost in a nailbiter. Keep up the good work sandies.
 
Seniors: Your Homecoming Court Ballot is ready. Please go to your Class of 2024 Google Classroom to vote for your 2023 HoCo Court! Voting ends on Friday at 4pm.

Freshmen: Go to your Class of 2027 Google Classroom and vote for your Class Officers. Voting ends today at 4pm. 

Homecoming tickets are ON SALE! Please purchase your tickets from Mrs. Anderson for $10. Our Barbie theme is ready for you!

Yearbooks are on sale now through September 15th for just $63 each.  This will be the lowest price all year.  After September 15th the prices will go up.  Scan the QR code on Yearbook posters throughout the school to order, or see Mrs. Sontag in A109 for an order form.  

There will be a Speech/Drama/Debate Team meeting in Room E407 tomorrow to discuss the upcoming tournaments.

CHS Scene-Stealers will be holding auditions in the auditorium, Tuesday September 5th from 4p-6p for the Fall Show. Please prepare a 1-2 minute monologue for auditions, if you need assistance preparing one, please see Mrs. Graydon. You can sign up for an audition slot by scanning the QR code on the poster outside Mrs. Graydon's room.


Seniors!!! It’s time to paint your parking spots! Forms will be available at all three lunches.  Please get with a student council member, or go to Coach Spencer’s room in W204 to obtain a form.  A down payment of $20 is required to reserve your space.  No spaces will be reserved without a down payment.  Total cost is $40.

Testing for the PSAT/NMSQT will be on Tuesday, October 10th. Bring $18 to Mrs. Perez in the front office by today if you would like to take the test.


Student Council is hosting the first blood drive of the year on August 31. Please sign up using the QR codes or link on the poster in Google Classroom if you are 16 or older and would like to donate. If you are 16, you must have a permission form signed by your parents. Please see Mrs. Anderson in room E206 for a form or print one from Google Classroom.

Tip for the day –Make certain that all your personal information is deleted from your computer prior to disposing of it.
