Congratulations to the 2023 Homecoming Court! Queen nominations are Azelyn Garcia, Celeste Kwi, Coral Jones, Sydney Rasmussen, and Mia Salazar. King nominations are Athyn Morales, David Woodward, Jakob Bargas, Karson Lester, and Troy Sonsel. The court will need to go to Mrs. Anderson's room (E206) right after announcements to pick up your sashes.
The Senior Class has elected five queen and five king nominations to represent them on the 2023 Homecoming Court. Please go to your Google Classroom to vote for one queen and one king to be crowned at the 2023 Homecoming ceremony. Voting ends Friday at 4 pm!
This Friday will be the annual Juniors vs. Seniors Taco Cook-off! Everyone is welcome to join us in the parking lot before school to have a taco!
Congratulations to Sandies freshman and JV volleyball on a great win against Cuero Friday.
Picture day is this Friday, September 8th for 9-11th grade students. If you would like to order pictures, bring your envelope and money on Friday or you can order online. English teachers should have an order form for you to bring. Email Mrs. Sontag if you have any questions.
Homecoming week themes are as follows. Tuesday: Dress as something with the same initial as your first name. Wednesday-dress as your favorite Barbie or ken, Thursday-Dress as your favorite musical artist/wear musical artist t-shirt and Friday-Wear Gold for Gold out.
Juniors, please check your Google Classrooms to put in your suggestions for this year's Prom Theme. Suggestions will be taken until September 8.
Homecoming tickets are ON SALE! Please purchase your tickets from Mrs. Anderson for $10. Our Barbie theme is ready for you!
Yearbooks are on sale now through September 15th for just $63 each. This will be the lowest price all year. After September 15th the prices will go up. Scan the QR code on Yearbook posters throughout the school to order, or see Mrs. Sontag in A109 for an order form.
CHS Scene-Stealers will be holding auditions in the auditorium today from 4p-6p for the Fall Show. Please prepare a 1-2 minute monologue for auditions, if you need assistance preparing one, please see Mrs. Graydon. You can sign up for an audition slot by scanning the QR code on the poster outside Mrs. Graydon's room.
