Happy birthday Krystal Stary
Congratulations to the CHS Tennis Team, your Bi-district champs and area qualifiers. It literally came down to the last two matches for the 10-9 victory over Columbia. Rocky Ybarra and Hai Say capped the wins at the end to send the team to the area round tomorrow. Other notable victories were achieved by David Torres, Ashley Anderson, Sean Laguna, Arin Lin, Emily Salinas, Ella Vazquez, Celeste Kwi, and Troy Sonsel. Good luck at area tomorrow.

Calhoun! Next week is Cancer Awareness & Fair Week. We only have 2 days of school to honor those who have battled cancer! On Monday, show your support by wearing the color assigned to YOUR class. Freshmen, wear YELLOW. Sophomores, wear LIME GREEN. Juniors, wear PURPLE and Seniors, wear your ORANGE! On Tuesday, everyone wears Tie Dye to show support for all cancer victims and survivors!
Students, we NEED your registration paperwork, technology, chromebook and discipline forms turned in as soon as possible. It is very very important that this is turned into the front office. Get this paperwork in!! Teachers, please get this paperwork to me as soon as possible every day.
The 2024 Yearbook is on sale now for $68. After October 20th, the price will go up. Order online using the QR Codes on posters throughout the school or see Mrs. Sontag in A109 for an order form.
Tip for the day –Avoid dark, vacant or deserted areas; use well-lit routes.
