The Calhoun Sandcrabs defeated Hargrave HS 5 to 1 in the Huffman ISD Tournament.
John Moreno and Christopher Caro scored 2 goals each, and Rogelio Jimenez scored 1 goal. Congratulations SANDCRABS!
Sandies Soccer competed in the Yoakum tournament on January 4th, 5th and 6th They opened the tournament with a 4 to 0 loss to San Antonio Christian and a pair of 3 to 0 losses to Saint Joes and Palacios high schools. The Sandies finished the tournament with a 2 to 1 loss to Smithville and a 5 to 2 win over Halletsville. Mileidy Anzaldua led the scoring with 2 scores and 16 steals in the tournament, Dulce Morales, Shayla Nolasco, Bianca Rodriguez and Daisy Guerrero had 1 score each. The Sandies are competing in the West Columbia Tournament Jan 11th, 12th and 13th
SOPHOMORES- please log into Google Classroom to vote for your sophomore class Breaker Beauty and Beau. Voting ends at 4pm today.
Sandies Soccer played Wharton in the West Columbia tournament and came home with a 3 to 2 win. Claire Flores led the scoring with 2 scores, Ella Vazquez had a score and 2 assists, Mileidy Anzaldua finished the game with an assist and 4 steals and Jennifer Gallegos finished the game with 4 steals. The Sandies will play Cy Park and West Columbia Today.
Breaker Beauty Tickets are available for $3 each. All students must have a ticket to attend. Breaker Beauty will be on Friday, January 19th beginning at 1:30 pm. Please see any Yearbook Students for tickets or go to A109 to purchase your ticket.
On Wednesday, January 19th, there will be a brief baseball meeting for those planning to tryout for the team after school at 4pm in the film room of Gym 2.
Juniors, please check google classroom to vote for Breaker Beauty nominees. Voting will end today at 12pm.
Attention freshmen and sophomores, You can now register to take the PSAT. Bring $15 to Mrs. Perez in the front office by January 18th.

Just a reminder that you can continue to stay for after school detention to make up attendance hours and we will have Saturday school through 3-8-24.
Tip for the day – At home, secure sliding glass doors with a lock or bar, or place a piece of wood or broom handle in the track.
