February is Teen dating Violence Awareness Month. Healthy dating relationships allows their partner to maintain their independence. If your partner is controlling what you do or who you talk to, you may be missing important opportunities in your own life. You should be able to maintain your own identity and control your own boundaries. Stay empowered by speaking up for yourself and talking to a trusted adult if you need to.
