Are you ready to Rochambeau? Everyone should have received beads this morning as they came into school. If you are late in,  you were to pick yours up in the front office. Boys athletics, your coaches had some for you. For those that want to play go to your Google classroom “class of” for official rules. Good luck! No cheating!!! Tomorrow is Twin Day! Twin with a friend or teacher!  Make sure you look for the voting jugs in the cafeteria for our first ever Queen & King of Hearts. All proceeds will go toward the American Heart Association.

The Calhoun Sandcrabs obtained their seventh victory of the season and remain undefeated in district.  They won against Hallettsville HS 12 to 0. Guillerme Leuenroth scored 6 goals, John Moreno scored 5 goals and Hser Say scored 1 more for a total of 12 goals. Congratulations SANDCRABS!

The Sandies traveled to Halletsville to play the Lady Bramahas and returned home with a 2 to 1 victory. Bianca Rodriguez scored the first goal for the sandies with Daisy Guerrero assisting. Daisy scored the sandies second goal with Mileidy Anzaldua assisting. Jaeleigh Campos led the team with 6 steals Dulce Morales, Ashlyn Maldonado Jennifer Gallegos and Kamila ruiz had 4 steals a piece. Tha Sandies travel to Rice Consolidated on Friday to play the lady raiders.

The JV Softball team lost to Gregory Portland. They battled hard in the last inning but fell short. The Varsity Softball team beat Gregory Portland 3-0 and earned a win in their first game of the season. 

We will be having a Saturday school session on February 19th.  If you owe hours for attendance, this is an extra day to make up those hours.  8am -2pm in the library.  Also do not forget the Saturday school scheduled for February 16th.

Seniors, don’t wait until the last minute!! Scholarship information is ready in the front office.  Please go by and see Mrs. McCarthy-Vesely between classes, homeroom, during lunch or right after school until 4 pm.  She will explain the scholarship process and the packets that you will pick up.  Another reminder: Only students can pick up the packets.

Tip for the day – Turn your cell phone off when you are not using it.

Students-at this time, check your email. 

Teachers, please check the ISS Spreadsheet and add work for your students.  Homeroom teachers, please check the Tutorial Spreadsheet at this time and send students to their teachers.
