Congratulations to the JV girls soccer team for whipping Wharton last night, 5-1! An outstanding defensive effort combined with spectacular saves by keeeper Jessalyn Padron kept the Sandies in the game. Offensively, Angela Salinas and Adelynn Ivy scored 2 goals each and Avery Kriegel blasted a 5th. Michelle Martinez, Yuritza Quezada, Keelin Escalante, and Avery Kriegel assisted the goals. Brilliant game ladies!!!

Congrats to Lyric Lopez and Kyndra Carriles for coming home with medals from the Calhoun JV Golf invitational yesterday.

Student Council is hosting their 2nd annual Game Night in the cafeteria on February 23rd from 7-11pm.  There will be board games, ping pong, spike ball, karaoke, etc.  Tickets are on sale now for $5 with Mrs. Anderson (E206) or any student council member.  The $5 will be returned to use for concessions when you show up to play games with your friends!

We will be having a Saturday school session on February 19th.  If you owe hours for attendance, this is an extra day to make up those hours.  8am -2pm in the library.  Also do not forget the Saturday school scheduled for February 16th.

Tip for the day – Check out a first date or blind date with friends first.  Better yet, go with other friends on your first date.
