The Calhoun JV golf teams competed in Victoria West Warriors Invitational at Riverside on Wednesday. The girls team came home with 3rd place as a team. The team consisted of Lyric Lopez, Gracie Kuta, Arcana Adame, and Kyndra Carriles. The boys team came in 4th place. Team consisted of Bryan Ledezman, Dravyn Garza, Nick Ragusin, Keelan Peppers and Cameron Bazan.
The Calhoun Varsity Girls golf team competed in the Columbia Roughnecks Invitational in Freeport. They came home with a 2nd place team finish. The team consisted of Brynn Passmore, Lilly Gossett, Jiliian Tanner, Celeste Kwi, Trinity Morgan, (Ask Trinity how her day went), Celeste Kwi, Ryle Ragusin, and Maci Bryan. Brynn Passmore finished 3rd overall.
Seniors- the following scholarships are due soon: Catholic Life (State), Texas Farm Bureau online, and Victoria Electric Coop Online are due tomorrow. The Jackson Electric scholarship application is due to Mrs. McCarthy Vesely Monday so that she can get it mailed in time for them to receive it by the due date.
March 6 marks 50 days left of school. Celebrate by wearing your tie dye attire.
Seniors, you have less than 2 weeks to pick up scholarship packets, do not wait until the last minute.
Do not forget that the last scheduled Saturday to make up hours for first semester is this Saturday
