Happy Birthday tomorrow Mrs. Amy Cardwell
Seniors the South Texas Farm & Ranch scholarship application is due Mrs. McCarthy-Vesely by 9am today so that it can be mailed off in time. Also, the Victoria College online scholarship deadline is today.
The rest of the scholarships are due March 19th, make sure you have them in the provided brown envelopes from the front office.
Student Council Members! If you plan to buy any StuCo Apparel, please get your order placed asap. The store closes Sunday, March 10th and you will not be able to order afterward.
Varsity baseball team came away with two victories yesterday in the Hallettsville tournament. They beat Giddings 6 to 2 and then Shiner 2 to 1. In the first game, David Cano, started and pitched 5 innings for the win. Julian Casarez and Layten Rodriguez, led the offense with two hits apiece and combined for 5 RBIs. In the second game, starting pitcher, Cayden Herren, and reliever, Demetrio Rodriguez combined to throw a no-hitter against the Shiner Comanches. Offensively the team was led by Ethen Ramirez and Julian Cazares, who had a clutch RBI double to tie the game and subsequently score the go ahead run.
April 4th is the cutoff to be completed with Texas College Bridge if you are wanting STAAR Late in. This is one month from today! Please be sure you have completed all of your Math and English Texas College Bridge, including writing your essay for English. If you have any questions, email Mrs. Cardwell or Mrs. Kohutek.
We will be providing two more chances to make up attendance hours. Today from 1pm-5pm and tomorrow from 8am-2pm. Please do not miss these extra opportunities to restore your credit.
