The Hunter Hadley, Lavaca Foundation and Bethany Senior Living scholarships are due by homeroom today.
Seniors, you have until the end of the day - 11:59 PM Tonight - to finish your Texas College Bridge if you want STAAR late-in beginning next week. Get it done! Don't forget to write your essay if you have English. This must be completed to earn credit. Many of our Junior and Senior students have earned this. Great job! The final announcement of students who have earned this will be tomorrow and Monday. Email Mrs. Cardwell or Mrs. Kohutek with any questions.
We will be having a Saturday School this Saturday so that you can start making up attendance hours for the 2nd semester of this school year. It will be from 8am-2pm.
It's almost time for Prom. Prom tickets will go on sale starting Monday, April 8 during all 3 lunches. The cost for tickets are $25 each. They will be on sale also on Thursday, April 11th & Friday, April 12th during lunches and resume the following week. Due to STAAR testing they will not be on sale every day but you can stop in to Mrs. Gossett's office to get one. Everyone must have a ticket to enter into Prom. If you have a date who does not attend our school, you must fill out a Guest Permission Form & it will need to be turned into the front office for approval. Any questions regarding tickets or sales, get with Mrs. Gossett.
STAAR testing dates are English 1-April 9th, English 2-April 10th, Biology-April 16th, US History-April 18th ans Algebra-April 23rd.
The team from SSR Letter Jackets will be on campus on Tuesday, April 9th from 11:45 – 1:10 at the Calhoun High School Main Gym to measure for letter jackets, and to take up order forms and payments. All directions on how to order your jacket are in your packet. Please pick up a packet from your coach, director or sponsor if you have not already done so.
Seniors--Student Council would like to include you in the Senior Day Baby Slideshow. Be sure to send a baby picture or toddler picture to [email protected] by tomorrow. This information is also in your Google Classroom.
This week is Child Abuse Awareness Week. Here are the dress up days: Friday, April 5: Go BLUE day–Wear as much blue as you can.
Good news!! Yearbook pre-orders have reopened until tomorrow. If you would like to guarantee your copy of the yearbook, see Mrs. Sontag in room A109 for an order form.
Tip for the day-Make a safe driving plan, build time into your trip schedule to stop for food, rest breaks, phone calls or other business.
