Congratulations to the boys baseball team this year on another successful season.  The Varsity qualified for the playoffs last night by beating Beeville 1–0 on an outstanding pitching performance by Ricky Martinez.  He allowed just 2 hits and struck out 9 hitters in his 7 shutout innings. The defense also played a critical role with several outstanding plays in the field led by Alex Parker, Cayden Herren, Jaxon Ondreas and Ethen Ramirez. The Sandcrabs next play Hallettsville on Friday for a warm-up game to prepare for the first round of the playoffs next week against Floresville.
