Attention all athletes for 2024-25. Calhoun athletic physicals will be May 6th for boys and May 8th for girls. If you are going to be in athletics next year, you must have a current physical on file. You can pick one up from your coach or in training room.
The UIL Academics team traveled to Texas A&M Corpus Christi this weekend to compete at region! In Number Sense, Stacy Zhang placed 1st. Their team placed second. In Calculator, Doreen Luo placed 2nd. Their team placed 2nd overall. In Mathematics, Stacy Zhang placed 1st. Their team placed 1st overall. In Computer Apps, Natalia Zarate placed 5th and Jonathan Nguyen placed 6th. In Accounting, Jonathan Nguyen placed 6th. Their team placed 3rd overall. Good luck to those advancing to state! GO SANDCRABS!
Calhoun Esports will be recruiting for the 24-25 school year. A Google Form has been sent out to your Google Classroom. If you are interested, please fill out the form by the end of this week. We will be recruiting for Rocket League, Super Smash Brother Ultimate, and Madden.
The yearbooks are here! Any student who ordered a yearbook can pick them up in A109. There are a limited amount of extra copies for sale. The cost is $75 and you must purchase with cash or check written out to Calhoun High School.
Seniors, go to your Class of 2024 Google Classroom and submit your nominations for Who's Who recipients to be announced on Senior Day. Nominations will tomorrow, then voting will begin.
Tip for the day-Part of driving responsibly is to not get behind the wheel after consuming alcohol. Doing so not only puts yourself in danger, but it also risks the safety of others.
