Travis Middle School – Weekly Parent Update

Today marked the end of the first 6-week grading period, and progress reports will be sent home next week. We are here to support your student’s success—please reach out if your student needs any assistance.

We had a fun reward today with ice cream as our campus maintained a 95% attendance rate! We will continue to review attendance every 6 weeks, giving students another chance to earn rewards, so please make sure your student is here each day.

Spirit week was a huge success, and it was wonderful to see students participating! A big thank you to our PTO for helping sponsor the Homecoming dance.

• TMS Attendance Average: 95% – Our district goal is 95%. Great job encouraging students to be present!

• First-Day Forms: 90% completed – thank you for your support! Any student who turns them in will still be rewarded.

Rules and Expectations

• SmartPass: Our campus digital hall pass system requires your student to have their Chromebook charged and ready to use. 

• Stolen IDs: Any student found with another student’s ID will receive a consequence.

• CHS Sandcrab Home Game Tonight: TMS Student Section Expectations:

  • Enter with an adult

  • Wear your ID

  • No backpacks allowed
