Our mission is to provide a safe, supportive and engaging learning environment where all students can grow academically, socially, and emotionally. We are committed to helping every child develop into a responsible, productive citizen who contributes positively to the community. Our staff members guide students in the pursuit of knowledge, the setting of goals and the development of strong character and integrity. We believe that the inspiration we provide plays a vital role in fostering a lifelong love of learning.
Seadrift School offers a wide range of academic and extracurricular opportunities, including athletics (cross country, volleyball, football, basketball, and track), National Junior Honor Society, Student Council, a high school credit course (Alg. 1), and enrichment classes (Esports, STEM and Speech/Yearbook). All students are encouraged to participate and find their place in our school community.
Our academic support programs include English as a Second Language (ESL), Gifted and Talented education, Character Education, and Reading By Design for dyslexia students. We are equipped with 1:1 chromebooks for student use and a parent center to enhance student and family engagement.
