Let's look at the instructional calendar for this month and next... 


Black - teachers and students off for a holiday
Blue - students are off from school for staff to train and collaborate

Please notice there are a couple of days coming up where students are off of school during the week (that aren't federal holidays) -- Jan. 30 and Feb. 27. These would be great options for students to take care of non-emergency appointments and such, so that they don't have to miss an important instructional day. 

Every day of school attendance is important for a variety of reasons ... most importantly for learning and building good work ethic behaviors. But did you know that daily attendance also impacts school funding, which in turn supports staffing and programs? We appreciate our students, families, and community for understanding the importance of daily school attendance, and not only showing up, but also showing up prepared and engaged. Let's help our students set big goals and achieve great success!
