AED units available at stadium and tennis court
New Community AED Units Available 24/7
Calhoun County ISD is proud to announce the installation of two new Automated External Defibrillator (AED) units for public emergency use:
CCISD Football Stadium Track
Calhoun High School Tennis Courts & Softball Complex (centrally located between the facilities)
These lifesaving AED units are housed in secure, weather-protected lock boxes designed to protect the equipment from heat, cold, moisture, dust, and vandalism while still allowing rapid public access during an emergency.
How to Access the AED in an Emergency:
If an AED is needed, immediately call 9-1-1. The emergency operator will provide the access code to unlock the AED cabinet while dispatching emergency responders to your location.
Important Reminder:
These AED units are intended for emergency use only. Tampering, misuse, or unauthorized access to the equipment will be taken seriously.
Our goal is to provide an added layer of protection for students, athletes, families, and community members who use our facilities every day. Quick access to an AED can save lives, and we are proud to make these resources available to our community.
Together, we are creating a safer Calhoun County.
